Foreign organizations must make regular reports on recruitment of Vietnamese employees

On April 22, 2015, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued the Circular No. 16/2015/TT-BLDTBXH guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 75/2014/ND-CP of July 28, 2014, detailing a number of articles of the Labor Code regarding recruitment and management of Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals in Vietnam.

In accordance with regulations in this Circular, before June 10 and December 10 every year, a foreign organization or individual in Vietnam shall make a biannual report and an annual report on recruitment and employment of Vietnamese employees and send their reports to organizations competent to recruit and manage Vietnamese employees as assigned or authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Centers for employment service.
Besides, before June 20 and December 20 every year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and provincial-level People’s Committees shall, within their scope of management, send to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs a biannual report and an annual report on recruitment and management of Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals in Vietnam.

This Circular takes effect on June 6, 2015.
